It was publicly released on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in New York City, in a ceremony involving the Episcopal Bishop of New York, Mark Sisk; Bill McKibben; and other people of faith. • Margaret was one of the authors of "A Call to Action from the House of Bishops of Province VIII," which challenges Episcopalians to adopt the Genesis Covenant, to reduce their carbon footprint, and to work toward stabilizing the climate.
